Here is a peek into my new workshop.  This is my newest creative lovely workshop, and another creative journey into mixed media art.

Dreaming Of The 60's

Hi Everyone!

Here is a new journal page I did for the Design Team over at  The Mirror Crack'd
The theme this month is Stencils.
  I wanted to do something reminiscent of the 60's with it's wonderful flower power, peace and love themes. I'm thinking she was a sweet little Hippie Girl in the past, and now she can sit back and dream of her younger days with loving memories. We all have so many good memories to play with in our journals.  On this page I used lots of different products, there are layers of stencils, paints, inks, stamps, collaged papers, and of course one of my lovelies from a while back.

Tutorial

New Beginnings

"A New Creative Journey" is my title for this fun picture. I used one of my Bonus Sketches for her sweet face. This lovely is getting ready for a fantastic creative new year of art. She is looking forward to finding her creative soul, and sharing the love with all of us.  I think we all need to get ready for a fun 2015 with lots of new creativity. 

 Do something different, try using materials you never used before in your artwork. Expand, Explore and Engage yourself into new creative experiences. We all get stuck in a rut, but this year... let this be the year you really put yourself out there with your creative imagination, and see what happens. I bet you will have an unexpected blast of fun.   :)

Bonus Set

Well, my friends I found these sketches in one of my journals and thought I would share.  These are just quick little sweet faces I had made to use in my journals a while back.  They worked out great for me, and I am sure they will for you too.  Over the years of practicing faces I have made quite a few.  

These three are very easy to use and place in your artwork. You just have the faces on these and you can add so much around them and make them into what every you like. Draw their little bodies or collage their bodies to the page. 

 If you watched my video tutorial I made last year where I made Fairies, I used some of my sketches for the faces on the three fairies.  I always like to have some little faces handy when I start thinking of a project. They are fun to carry along with you when you are traveling too.
